Jesus is the Way

People are always talking about some guy named Jesus.

Some use that name to make their conversation a little more “colorful” and usually in anger. Others whisper it as a quick prayer: “Jesus help me.” But who is Jesus?

This is one of the most profound questions you can ask and I hope you will.

I’ve heard Him referred to as a good man, a prophet, and even a fictional character who teaches us about morality.

According to the Bible, He is called the Son of God, the Light of the World, and the only way to have a right relationship with God the Father.

The Bible is a BIG BOOK! If you want to know more about Jesus, I encourage you to read the book of John in the Bible. Before you read (or listen), sincerely ask God to help you understand who Jesus is as you read.

If you’ve tried to do life on your own and your way has NOT brought you a fulfilling life, I highly recommend you give Jesus a chance. He is called the Healer, the Good Shepherd, and the Prince of Peace. He is also called the Way, the Truth and the Life.

The Bible tells us that Jesus came to earth to live a perfect life as an example we can follow. He died on a cross and three days later was resurrected back to life so that, by simply believing on His name, we can also have eternal life.

If you have any questions about how to start a new chapter of life with God through Jesus, (click here.)

The problem and the solution according to the book of Romans:
ROMANS 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
ROMANS 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
ROMANS 5:8 - "But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
ROMANS 10:9 - "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
ROMANS 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
ROMANS 8:1 - "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

So what do you need to do?
Confess with your mouth that Jesus is LORD and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved.

Saved from what? The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. This is not just an eternal death after our body dies… Jesus did not come to earth just to save us from hell when we die. He came to offer us an abundant life right here on earth!

Prayer:
Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. I agree that I am a sinner and I need a savior. I accept the free gift of salvation that You offer. Teach me how to walk with You.
In Jesus name, amen.

If you prayed that prayer, welcome to the family!

I encourage you to find a Bible-believing local church where you can learn more about the incredible love of God!

If you prayed that prayer, I would love to hear about it and celebrate with you!
