You went to bed at midnight again and turned off that alarm, supposing we would meet at 8:00 AM rather than 2:15 AM since it’s a Saturday morning and you don’t have to go to work.

Why was your thought process not, “It’s Friday night! I can have my appointment with my Daddy and sleep in as long as I want in the morning?”

These meetings aren’t casual and they aren’t an interruption to the plan. They are the plan.

Last Tuesday night at Bible study, you were quick to answer the question, “I feel guilty a lot. What is the difference between conviction and condemnation? How do I know if it is the conviction of God or condemnation from the enemy?”

Your answer was good, yet incomplete when you said, “Ask yourself two questions: 1) Have I asked God to forgive me for what I feel guilty about? 2) Have I stopped doing what I asked Him to forgive?”

That’s a good start and you were on the right track. The problem is you are wanting to take more advanced math and treat it like an addition or subtraction problem. You’re doing the same thing with a lot of your theology.

Urgency with an indefinite timeline breeds exhaustion and burnout. There is no exhaustion or burnout in a divinely paced ministry.

In My army, the army of God, people are our most valuable asset. Troops who are not fully equipped are at great risk when delivered to the front lines of the battle lacking in any area of preparation.

Just as you would not send an army recruit to the front lines of a battle without armor, a weapon, and a shield, we cannot send troops in our army to take ground from the enemy ill-prepared.

When I told you on your walk to re-engage fully and pray, what do you think I meant?

Well, when You told me that, You were talking to me about my recovery community. I did re-engage, wore my shirts and prayed but then You recently released me from that ministry, at least for now, so I’m not really sure what that means for me now?
