As you read them, I pray you will learn to recognize how God is speaking to you about your life throughout your day.
Your Second Walk
For your next walk, I want you to bring your community governmental resources to Me. Prior to your walk, ask some questions… and gather some answers:
1) Where is the library nearest to your house?
2) If you’re at home and you call 911, which fire station would your help come from?
3) If you’re at home and you call for the police, what station would your help come from?
4) If you were sent to court in your community…
Quit Studying Me
Quit studying Me. You know Me. You know My heart towards you, My character, and My expectations of you. I want you to relax and enjoy your relationship with Me.
You just finished responding to a text message from your friend who was concerned about missing the formality of telling you goodbye after church last night and thanking you for letting her sit with you. She was concerned that she had been rude or ill-mannered. Tell Me what you thought as you began to respond to her.
Delegate
Have a seat. Leave that shovel right on top of your car.
It has been snowing nonstop. Last night, you had the cars clean and the driveway clear. Go measure the snow in the driveway.
6 1/4 inches.
How many inches did you shovel last night?
A few.
Look back at the first thing you shoveled. Is it clear?
Saying is Not Honoring
SAYING you want to honor Me with your life and ACTUALLY honoring Me with your life are two completely different things.
You have been SAYING you want to honor Me with your life for decades but you have done so inconsistently at best.
You have been SAYING you want to honor Me with how you care for your body for decades but you have done so inconsistently.
How do you feel you are doing now?
Cookbook, Part 2
You went to bed and woke up thinking about our conversation about the Christian faith being a cookbook. You were dreaming up new recipes. My heart is that you would all look like Me. If you were to get that right, you would walk like Jesus, talk like Jesus, live like Jesus, and above all, LOVE like Jesus.
Jesus was AND IS My heart incarnate.
