You’re suddenly feeling anxious because you didn’t fit intentional exercise into your day. What makes you think intentional exercise is important? And if you think it’s important then why do you not treat it like a priority?

I’m laughing and glad you can also see the humor in how many sentences you just started typing and had to delete. Very creative excuses and storytelling but you’re completely missing the point.

Get your focus off your body or you will continue gaining weight. Your excess weight is simply a physical symptom of spiritual malnutrition. When you address the malnutrition, your weight will naturally correct itself.

Three people just came to mind who have been sharing their weight struggles with you and you got excited that I’m about to give you answers you can share with them. PAUSE.

Stop. Count the pages you just wrote in that prayer journal. Eleven pages of wrong thinking.

You’ve been sitting here for more than two hours pouring your heart out and all I’ve heard are echoes of shame, regret, and wrong thinking. Throw those pages in the burn pile, take a nap, and let’s try again.

In the meantime, tell that lying spirit of condemnation to leave - cast it out.

How many times have you stopped to refill your 40oz water bottle with coffee and get a sub-par donut for $2 at the gas station this week alone?

Why are you doing that?

Do you remember your headache last night? I’m going to give you a hint: you’ve had coffee enough recently that your body is forming a dependency already. Habits born of fleshly desire are developed quickly and broken with much intention and discomfort.

When your niece sincerely looked you in your eyes and asked…

“Auntie Donna, do you REALLY think that anything you’ve ever done was bad enough that an amazing man who had never done anything wrong should have to die in the way Jesus did just so God could forgive you?”

…you looked like a deer caught in the headlights. In your spirit, you had an immediate resounding “yes” because you have wholeheartedly come into agreement with My Word but…

In Christ, you don’t physically look any different. No one can physically SEE that you’re in Christ, which is why we talked the other day about you complimenting that music minister on appearing to be worshipping in the spirit.

The only one who can truly SEE if you’re in the bubble is Me. The only one who can FEEL if you’re in the bubble or not is you. You will know you’re out of your bubble if life begins to feel weighty or your soul begins to feel troubled.

From the tone of your voice, I feel like there is a reprimand coming.

It's preferable. If I'm off about something, I'd rather know sooner than later. I tend to get myself in less trouble that way.
