Old YouTube Channel
Baby Girl,
Your mind is fussing with you about the request to delete your YouTube channel. You are allowing your natural mind to take part in the conversation. Command it to be still.
You have considered pulling the subtitles from all your videos and creating Word documents with each video and its content. You know the title of each video you have made and what is contained within it. A keyword search would be an easy way to find what you’re looking for.
You have enough YouTube shorts to turn them into miniature devotions based on each topic, and it would be a good devotional, but you would be marrying where we have been with where I am trying to take you.
I gave you 30 days to keep your old channel up to allow you to mentally debate all of this. I cannot have you move into this next season with Me regretting obedience. I am giving you time to renew your mind to agree with Me.
You’re wondering if you can write out a short paragraph recapping the content of each video?
You could.
Baby, you can do whatever you want, remember? Free will.
The question is not “Can I?” Of course you can. You’re fully capable of recapping each video.
The question is not “May I?” You have free will. Of course you may.
The question is “Should I?” Holy Spirit, should I make notes from my old videos?
Let Me ask you this: what are you afraid of losing?
I put countless hours into my studies of Paul and learned so much about his life and ministry. So much background information that has been super valuable in understanding Jewish culture and the significance of what he taught.
I have poured over Scripture, original Greek and Hebrew words, commentaries, sermons, and more, learning about subjects like fasting, marriage, sex and sexuality… that video has a TON of study that went into it!
Pause. Have you not heard yourself? Are you not aware of the problem yet?

I could let you keep going but there are many more “I’s” coming in what you were about to say and I AM not interested in what you have to say about what you think you discovered.
Have I taught you many things since that YouTube channel began in 2017?
Yes. Of course You have.
Have I received the credit?
No.
If someone were to ask you where you learned all that, how would you answer?
Well…
You’re getting quiet.
It’s not a rhetorical question. I’ll ask again, and I’ll wait. Take your time. I want your honest answer. If someone were to ask you where you learned all that, how would you answer?
There are those tears. You’re getting it - human efforts.
You’re railing against this whole conversation in your mind. Do you think everything you learned and experienced that was recorded over the past seven years was wasted or lost if you don’t hold onto it?
No.
Everything you have DIVINELY written and recorded has become part of your spiritual mind. This is the wellspring of understanding you will draw from as I inspire you to write and speak.
Do you trust Me?
Why do your eyes still fill with tears when I ask that question?
You know I am going to ask you to let go.
Remember that little cartoon strip that shows a small child with a death grip on a small teddy bear and the parent is asking them to let go? As the reader, you know something that small child doesn’t know. You know that if the child hands that small teddy bear over, the parent has an incredible, larger-than-life teddy bear waiting to give them in exchange.
This is such a request: I am not asking for you to give up something good without knowing there is something better waiting.
When I ask, “Do you trust Me?” I am asking if you know My character. Do you believe I am worthy of your trust?

If you trust Me, delete the channel now. No more questions asked and go back to sleep. Your alarm will be going off in an hour for our appointed hour, and we have some work to do in preparation for Bible study tomorrow night.
Bible study is on Tuesday.
I know Bible study is on Tuesday. It’s 1:13am Monday morning. When I say tomorrow, I’m referring to Tuesday. Today is Monday.
