“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” - John 15:5
The world is bent on convincing you that who you are is a mistake and that you will never measure up. What if you were created on purpose and for a purpose? What if you discovered your life has meaning and purpose beyond what you see?
According to the Bible, you WERE created with God’s heart in mind. You were created in the image of God - and God is LOVE.
Each trinket listed below points to a specific Biblical Truth about who you are and God’s intentions for your life.
As you identify the trinket you found, I pray you will take time to reflect on who GOD says you are because, in the end, that is all that really matters. I pray that if you do not know who you are, you would begin to seek God because He promises in His Word that when we seek Him with all our heart, we WILL find Him!
God bless you!
Anointing Oil
This anointing oil is to remind you that consecrating something (or setting it apart) to God is a deliberate act. There is nothing special about the oil in this bottle. This is just a little bottle of extra virgin olive oil. There are companies making BIG MONEY selling you oils they say are blessed. It is no more blessed than an oil you set apart and offer to God.
When you anoint something (or someone) in faith, you are offering that thing to God to use for His purposes. It is an act of submission and faith.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for all of the beautiful reminders of who You are, who I am in You, and what You have made available to me. Thank You for trusting me with the mission of sharing the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, with the world and thank You that sharing Your LOVE is EASY.
Help me remember that the enemy is overcome by Your blood AND my testimony. Give me the BOLDNESS and COURAGE I need to share what You have done and what I am STILL trusting You to do in my life with freedom and joy. Help me to continue in faith in areas of my life that still feel so hopeless. Thank You that when I am weak, You are strong. Help me to trust Your plan.
Give me an increased HUNGER for Your Word and a desire to share it with others. In the areas I am still wrestling with chains, LORD, I ask You to set me free. I thank You that with the Holy Spirit living in me, I am FULLY EQUIPPED to do everything You are calling me to do. I want to HONOR YOU with my life and, to do that, I need Your help.
I love You, I praise You, and I trust You.
In Jesus’ Name I pray,
Amen
