This anointing oil is to remind you that consecrating something (or setting it apart) to God is a deliberate act. There is nothing special about the oil in this bottle. This is just a little bottle of extra virgin olive oil. There are companies making BIG MONEY selling you oils they say are blessed. It is no more blessed than an oil you set apart and offer to God.
When you anoint something (or someone) in faith, you are offering that thing to God to use for His purposes. It is an act of submission and faith.
This shield (helmet, breastplate, sword, belt, or shoes) is to remind you of the armor of God. We are told to put on the full armor of God; the helmet of salvation, the breast plate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit and our feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, and we are commanded to stand. We cannot pick and choose which parts of the armor we will use on any given day. Each part is important. Remember that battle that we fight is not against flesh in blood, but against principalities and powers in the unseen world. People are not our enemies. People are God‘s creation and dearly loved. The enemy has turned people against each other.
We are never fighting people. We are always fighting spiritual principalities that wage war with God, and while we do fight battles here on earth, Jesus has already declared ultimate victory, and the war has been won.
These little baby feet are to remind you that no one is here by accident. God authors all life, and outside of Him there is no life. Scripture says that He knit us together in our mother‘s womb so we should praise Him because we are fearfully and wonderfully made. It is impossible for me to comprehend the concept that life happens by chance. The adult human body contains about 60,000 MILES of total blood vessels (including arteries, veins, and capillaries) and somehow 4.5 to 6 liters of blood pumps through those blood vessels and everything in our bodies just happens to work? I don’t think so. We as a human race have done many things that have disrupted the perfect plan that God had for our bodies, but I believe that ultimately God is Sovereign. He could cause or prevent anything, but our role is to trust His Goodness and Faithfulness, not our limited understanding of it all. If you are here, whether or not you understand the purpose, God is not done with you yet.
This birdseed is to remind you that the Word of God, the Bible is referred to as seed. When you accept Jesus as your LORD and Savior, the entire Bible becomes a “bag of seeds” that you can plant both in your own life and in the lives of those around you. You are not responsible for the outcome of planting that seed.
You are simply called to plant it and keep on moving. God does the rest.
This blank canvas is to remind you that God, the most incredible artist in the world, is making a masterpiece out of you. Though the rest of the world might be unaware of what He is doing, you can be assured that your Heavenly Father, your Daddy is at work in your life.
