Spirit of Doubt
Baby Girl,
I’m glad you listened to Me with your spirit, not just your natural mind.
You had a dream - what was it?
It was a very short dream. I dreamed that my friend replied to the email from last week where I sent her the letter “Racist.” She wrote, “This is critical. The accuser.”
When you woke up, what did you do?
I checked my text and email to see if she actually sent me a message.
Then what did you do?
I re-read the letter.
Did you hear condemnation?
I heard correction.
The enemy is working to plant seeds of doubt. The spirit of doubt was at work last night in the conversation with your husband as well but, in that conversation, you immediately recognized him.
If he can plant seeds of doubt and you entertain them, he can cause you to question Me. He’s operating with a familiar strategy: “Did God really say….?”
What does Scripture say about a person who doubts?
They are a double-minded man, unstable in all their ways.
Baby, you’re sensitive to My Spirit and you know the difference between correction and condemnation. Don’t entertain his suggestion.
It’s 5 AM. You turned off your alarm and stayed in bed. Our appointments are important. Make an effort to keep them.
Lay back down and get your last hour of sleep.
