Every time someone questions you, you do not need to answer them to THEIR satisfaction. Answer it, but if answering it to THEIR satisfaction is your goal, you will spend the rest of your life wrestling with what was already settled in your spirit.
What is the name of your ministry?
Donna Sanchez Ministries.
Why?
I wanted a different name. I don’t want to spend my life defending naming this ministry after myself.
Why do you feel the need to defend it? Did you name this ministry after yourself?
That’s what everyone thinks.
Why do you care what everyone thinks?
What did I tell you would happen when you become confident in where we’re headed?
(From Letter 14 - Twisted Testimony) “As you begin living a life that is above reproach, unconcerned with the opinions of others, be prepared to hear labels applied to you such as self-righteous, judgmental, prideful, arrogant, and even narcissistic. You have already been accused of being unwilling to listen to rational, logical people who are trying to talk sense into you.
You and I both know that My ways don’t always make sense to the natural mind. The logic in My ways are primarily perceived through spiritual eyes. Others will not fully be aware of what I am doing in and through you. You must be willing to stand alone.
Hold tight to what you know to be true. You are not self-righteous, judgmental, prideful, arrogant, or narcissistic. If you hear any of those words spoken out loud or in your soul, that is the enemy working to plant seeds of doubt. Cancel those words. The truth is, you are firmly established on the immovable rock of Jesus Christ and the unchangeable truth of My Word, the Bible. I don’t change like shifting shadows and my truth does not bend to accommodate the tides of change in culture, neither should you.”
What we decide and settle on, you need to etch in your mind and heart and stand firm on.
You were concerned that this name makes you target practice for the enemy? That it makes YOU visible? This name only makes you visible if it’s not covered under the blood and redeemed.
Donna Sanchez Ministries = Revelations 12:11b. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Don’t attempt to defend it. Etch that on the back side of your shield of faith and move on. Your job is not to get people to agree with what I call you to. Your job is to settle the matter in your heart and stand.
Like waves in the ocean, the waves of human opinion will either crush you or carry you to the shore if you attempt to ride them.
When the waves come, duck your head under the water and let them pass.
In surfing, when you ride the wave, you look cool for a minute, but then you’re left in the shallow waters and it’s a long swim back out to the deep water.
Spiritually, the same will happen if you ride the waves of human approval. So many of My ministers are sitting on their surf boards at what they are HOPING is the perfect spot to catch a wave.
As the water begins to pull and swell, they lie on the board and begin paddling like their life depends on it to ride the waves. Man! When they catch it and they are standing on that board in the tunnel of that wave, it is impressive looking!
What is the longest recorded ride on a surfing wave?
43.1 miles.
The world record for the longest wave surfed is held by national surfing champion Gary Saavedra, of Panama. He surfed a staggering 43.1 miles along the Panama Canal on 19th March 2011 by following a wave-creating boat which took him 3 hours, 55 minutes, and 2 seconds.
Well, LOOK AT THAT - A wave CREATED by a man in a boat.
THIS is what many of my ministers are riding. They are relying on publishers and publicists, agents and platforms, to keep them standing.
As impressive as 3 hours 55 minutes and 2 seconds is… that’s not sustainable.
When opportunities come to ride waves, duck your head, let the wave pass, and keep swimming. I want you out in the middle of the ocean where you can’t see the shore. There are plenty of fish there.
You were called to be a fisher of men. How many fish can you catch and keep on a surf board?
Your ministry will be much more effective on a boat in the deep waters with Me.
Go get your shower. That little guy will be waking up soon and you’ve got a full day ahead of you.
Duck and swim, Baby Girl! You’ll find the boat waiting when you’re in so deep you can no longer see the shore.
